Birchwood Student Takes First Place at State Science Fair

Braden Campbell, a fifth grade student at Birchwood Elementary, took first place in the junior division at the Washington State Science and Engineering Fair (WSSEF) at Bremerton High School on March 28. Braden’s project included building a wind tunnel to test model airplane wing design. The testing determined which wing design created the most lift.
