Shuksan Middle School Awarded $1.3 million 21st Century Grant

The Washington State Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) has awarded Shuksan Middle School a $1.3 million grant to develop and implement a 21st Century Community Learning Center over the next five years. Bellingham Public Schools, Western Washington University Woodring College of Education and Whatcom Family & Community Network will partner to create a Community Learning Center that supports The Bellingham Promise and includes targeted academic support, enrichment opportunities and specific programs to address the needs of participating families.  Click here for more information.
